We help you prioritize your needs and find your family qualified and appropriate Personal Assistants. We will then walk you through the selection process, hiring and trial period, salary negotiations, and any other issues that may arise.
Here are some differences between what we expect of our Virtual Assistants versus our Nannies:
Serves the Parents
As our Nannies cater mostly to the children of the family, our Assistants cater to the needs of the parents and the family.
Though our Assistants may undoubtedly assist with childcare, they have additional responsibilities. Their job is to make the parent’s life easier by freeing up their schedule.
Educational Requirements
We expect our professional/family Personal Assistants to have at least a bachelor’s degree, and having a degree in business administration or something similar is important. The Personal Assistant has a broader range of responsibilities and, therefore a higher level of education.
Experience Requirements
With Nannies having childcare experience, we expect our candidates to have had either personal or professional Personal Assistant experience. Families need to be able to count on our Assistants to be proactive, professional, and trustworthy.
Additional Responsibilities
Family PAs can assist with:
Buying groceries and household items
Preparing dinner for the whole family
Household cleaning and organizing
Looking after pets
Making restaurant reservations
Scheduling appointments
Making travel arrangements
Planning events and parties
Picking up dry-cleaning or running other errands
Answering phone calls and emails
Scheduling household maintenance
Paying household bills
Assisting Parents with Business Matters
Our family Personal assistants may additionally help run a parent or family business. With strong organizational skills and administrative experience, we expect them to help file paperwork or respond to business calls and emails.
